Subject: 07/12/03 Update from Kraig, Loren and Keren

Dear friends and family,

Thanks so much for praying! Keren's jaw surgery went well and she's getting back to her normal cheerful self quickly--she even smiled yesterday when we brought her home! We had to stay two nights in the hospital rather than one 'cause the doctor wanted to keep an eye on the swelling on Keren's jaw (she looked like a pear--small top of the head and huge bottom!). Fortunately it has gone down and she's feeling better too. The other little nice thing was that we were on the window side of the room which meant I got to sleep on a full couch rather than a recliner--that was definitely a help! We also had a great nurse for both Thursday and Friday--it was nice to have that consistency.

So anyway, that's about it! And that's hopefully it for surgeries for a long time.... We'll still keep the updates coming, and I really will get our website updated soon!!!
