Dear all,

Nope, no baby yet!  I'm glad from the sound of it that most of you are enjoying these frequent updates on our life.  We would hate to bore you to tears or overwhelm you with unnecessary information (something really easy to do in this day and age of mass media).  But it is nice to be able to get information to you so quickly, and know that you are right there with us, praying for us.  Talk about encouragement!  Hopefully we'll be able to keep you in the loop of our lives once Baby Baggins IS actually born.  Be sure to keep us posted on your lives and needs as well!

Time is hanging in limbo, it would seem, and yet I'm amazed at how calm Kraig and I feel.  We just keep taking one day at a time, and keep pecking away at things that need to be done.  Today is one of those quiet, reflective days, particularly considering the date.  Kraig was able to work from home today, and I'm trying to make a dent in some housework and other little odd-jobs.  I've also been doing a good bit of sleeping, which I'm told is allowed at that this point :) , so I'm taking full advantage of it.

As for updates, we went in Monday morning for another gel treatment and non-stress test.  Not much progress, though I have a feeling this one has been more effective.  We'll go in again Thursday morning, and the plan is then for another one next Tuesday and another ultrasound to check Baggins' growth rate.  I'm praying things will move along, but not TOO quickly, as my church baby shower is this Thursday evening.  The doctor is still watching things closely, and pushing things along, but at the moment isn't setting any definite dates--which is quite fine by us, so long as the baby's okay.

I think that's the scoop for now.  Thanks for your continued prayer and encouragement.  We've been seeing how God has been answering so much--from peace of mind, to Kraig's proposal, to even the growth of Baggins.  Very cool!

Love, Loren (for Kraig and Baggins, too!)
