Creform Applications -- Hemi Assist

The Hemi Assist was designed to assist hemiplegic individuals with walking and carrying objects. The device pictured above was designed for a child who has no use of the left side of her body.  As she walks forward, she tends to have a right lead, sideward gait; she also drags her left leg.  The device allows for placement of her right foot while pushing.  In addition, the Hemi Assist is fitted with a basket so that she can safely carry objects.
