Event Details:
Wayne State University’s Society of Women Engineers (SWE), American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AICHE), and Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization (CEO) present the 2nd Annual “Green Technology Symposium”. Wayne State University’s Society of Women Engineers (SWE), American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AICHE), and Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization (CEO) present the 2nd Annual “Green Technology Symposium”. The purpose of the event is to educate and promote awareness about green technologies in the state of Michigan, and around the world. Attending the event will be green industry leaders, company representatives, WSU engineering students and public. The first half of the event will include presentations from green industry. The event will continue with refreshments and a networking session, where donating companies can showcase information.

Speakers:
• Larry Filson, Executiver Director, Waldbridge
• Dr. John C. Chen, Professor of Chemical Engineering and Dean at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania Dr. Chen’s research has concentrated on transport phenomena in multiphase systems. He has investigated various aspects of boiling and condensing heat transfer, two- phase flows, interactive radiation and conduction, falling films, liquid metal heat transfer, and fluidized particle systems. His work has impacted engineering practices for power generation, energy systems, environmental abatement, and chemical processing
