Focus:  HOPE

 

Focus:  HOPE is a metropolitan Detroit civil and human rights organization.  its purpose is to resolve the effects of discrimination and injustice and to build integration.

As a volunteer at Focus:  HOPE, you will be expected to understand and adhere to the following guidelines:

Strong commitment to civil and human rights.

Establish a time for an initial interview and orientation

bullet

accept job placement and assigned supervisor

bullet

agree to maintain work schedule determined upon initial interview

bullet

absence of 3 consecutive days will result in immediate termination

bullet

Agree to be safety conscious within the assigned work environment

bullet

provide your own lunch

bullet

Observe the Focus:  HOPE substance abuse policy

bullet

Observe the Focus:  HOPE dress code policy which prohibits the following:

                No sleeveless shirts, halters, sweat suits, midriffs, mini-skirts/high splits,

                tank tops, muscle shirts, short/skorts, sandals, sundresses, hanging shirt tails,

                see through tops, crop pants, leggings or tight stretch pants, sneakers,

                denim jeans, jogging suits, plastic caps, hair rollers and do-rags.
