Focus: HOPE is a metropolitan Detroit civil and human rights organization. its purpose is to resolve the effects of discrimination and injustice and to build integration.
As a volunteer at Focus: HOPE, you will be expected to understand and adhere to the following guidelines:

Strong commitment to civil and human rights. |
|
|
Establish a time for an initial interview and orientation |
|
|
accept job placement and assigned supervisor |
|
|
agree to maintain work schedule determined upon initial interview |
|
|
absence of 3 consecutive days will result in immediate termination |
|
|
Agree to be safety conscious within the assigned work environment |
|
|
provide your own lunch |
|
|
Observe the Focus: HOPE substance abuse policy |
|
|
Observe the Focus: HOPE dress code policy which prohibits the following: |
No sleeveless shirts, halters, sweat suits, midriffs, mini-skirts/high splits,
tank tops, muscle shirts, short/skorts, sandals, sundresses, hanging shirt tails,
see through tops, crop pants, leggings or tight stretch pants, sneakers,
denim jeans, jogging suits, plastic caps, hair rollers and do-rags.
